THE 4th Meeting of the ABS Working Group under the Convention on Biological Diversity was an opportune occasion to revisit the difficult issues that States, indigenous and local communities and other stakeholders need to grapple with as they come to grips with the interplay of biodiversity and intellectual property rights.
